The ESU 1 School Psychology Program supports students' learning, social-emotional, and behavioral development through consultation, assessment, and intervention. School psychologists collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to understand student needs and identify strategies that promote academic and personal success.

Consultation with teachers, administrators, and families on learning and behavior challenges
- Comprehensive assessments for academic skills, learning aptitude, behavior, and special education eligibility
- Intervention strategies including behavior management, social skills training, and skill building
- Specialized assessment and support for students with various mental needs
- Multicultural assessment and culturally responsive practices
How to Access Services
Services are coordinated through local school districts contracting with ESU 1. Educators, families, or other professionals can make requests via the district’s multidisciplinary team. An ESU 1 psychologist assigned to the district will provide support as needed.
