The Early Learning Connection Coach Consultant works within ESUs 1,7 & 8 to ensure a comprehensive array of support to coaches who serve early childhood educators caring for children 0-8 in family child care homes, centers and preschool programs.
Services We Provide
The consult supports early childhood coaches in environments and opportunities which promote the child’s growth and development for any of the developmental domains, (language and literacy, health and physical development, approaches to learning, social emotional development, creative arts, science, mathematics) by:
- Offering resources and strategies to staff to enhance coach-educator relationships, offers expert suggestions, and utilizes reflective practices in all meetings
- Assisting coaches in structuring meetings and observations with educators to work towards goals and meet program objectives
- Checking in regularly with coaches to offer support and guidance
