The goal is to support students, families, and educational teams in creating accessible learning environments and ensuring success for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

How to Access Services

If you have concerns about a student’s hearing, contact your local school district to request an audiological evaluation. Referrals typically go through the special education director or building principal. To reach the ESU 1 Deaf Educator directly, call the Central Office at (402) 287-2061 or email Jessica Gragert at jgragert@esu1.org.
