The ESU 1 Transition Program supports students with disabilities in preparing for life after high school by helping them set goals, develop a transition plan, and connect with services that promote independence and meaningful adult outcomes. Transition planning is a collaborative effort involving schools, families, community members, and agencies.

Independent Living is a major step in the life of a young person. Help studentsprepare with the multimedia instruction in this module. Students will gain knowledge of important concepts such as making a budget, meeting new people and cleaning a living space.
