Early Childhood Special Education
The goal of the Early Childhood Special Education (ESCE) program is to provide appropriate comprehensive services to all children from birth to 5 years of age who are referred to ESU #1 and are verified as mentally handicapped, deaf/blind, hearing impaired, visually handicapped, multi-handicapped, orthopedically impaired, learning disabled, speech-language impaired, behaviorally disordered or otherwise health impaired.
To make a referral for a school-aged child, please contact your local school and speak with their special education professional. For children not yet of school age, please contact us at (402) 287- 2061.
